At EFG English Language Centre, we believe in Reformed theology. I thank God for opening my eyes to this blessed doctrine when I was studying at Bible seminary, which has formed the basis of our home and ministry. After sharing the Reformed faith with my wife, we have united in ensuring that our family holds the same beliefs. It has become our tradition to continue to hand down to our children by training them in Westminster Shorter Catechism as a resource for their spiritual growth.
My wife and I established the EFG Centre in 2020 in our modest rented house out of our love for teaching and ministry. By the Grace of God, as more students enrolled, we had to rent a small building for the centre. Nevertheless, because of high rental fees and sales of the buildings where the centre was located, the centre has had to move four times. Despite these challenges, we find comfort in knowing that God is with us every step of the way, guiding our mission and sustaining our work.
Our goal is to serve the Lord through teaching English, which we are both committed to as trained TEFL/TESOL teachers. EFG is dedicated to sharing the gospel with non-believers and disciplining young believers through scripture teaching. Our ultimate goal is to see our students’ lives changed in the spiritual as well as the physical realm. We aim for them to live lives that glorify God and enjoy Him forever, growing in their faith and in their ability to use English as a tool for success in the modern world.
